It’s all dressed up with everywhere to go. The Gourmet Gazette’s brings to you Veuve Clicquot’s Brut Carte Jaune which is being brought out in a limited edition all dressed up in a keep the bottle cold K-WAY®. The champagne house has once again brought out its famous Ice Jacket champagne bottle holder that it created some 15 years ago. The new limited edition Ice Jacket from Veuve Clicquot is a festive affair done in collaboration with the house of K-WAY and features a miniature K-WAY replete with all of the details of a big K-WAY from the hood to the zipper which has been made-to-measure for the house’s emblematic Brut Carte Jaune.

The Ice Jacket Veuve Clicquot-K-WAY® keeps the bottle nicely chilled for 90 minutes with its innovative concept of combining three layers of K-Way material offering everything you want in a K-WAY: waterproof, windproof, resistant all the while being colored in the same yellow color as the yellow or Jaune Clicquot. It is a perfect way to savor Veuve Clicquot rain or shine. The two French houses have come together to create a winning ensemble and the K-WAY can be re-used.

The Maison Veuve Clicquot was founded in 1772 and Madame Clicquot, nicknamed the great lady of Champagne, took over the helm of the house in 1805 becoming one of the first modern business women of her time. K-WAY® was born in Paris in 1965 on a very rainy day. One Léon-Claude Duhamel, a purveyor of clothing, noticed people rushing around soaking wet and an idea came to mind: create a folding waterproof and windproof jacket. The Ice Jacket Veuve Clicquot – K-WAY® will be available in the month of June so stayed tuned on: veuveclicquot.com
