Paris, France — Julianne Moore, Kamala Harris, Joni Mitchell, Jane Campion, Vivienne Westwood. It is a portrait gallery of some of the world’s most influential women that is being played out in the exhibition space of La Monnaie (The French Mint) of Paris. Some 26 portraits by a host of artists are being exhibited until July 4th, so if you can’t be in Paris right now, The Gourmet Gazette brings the portrait gallery to you.

The show, entitled Cover Artists Togeth’Her 2021, is being conducted in collaboration with the celebrated and influential French women’s magazine Madame Figaro which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Conceived and initiated by David-Hervé Boutin and Madame Figaro the exhibition gave carte blanche to 26 contemporary artists to imagine and create a cover for the magazine. The artists, including Joana Vasconcelos, Jean-Michel Othoniel and Prune Nourry, have donated their works to be sold at auction to benefit a charity or organization selected together with the subject of the portrait.
