Geneva, Switzerland — Luxury watchmakers went digital today with the launch of the new all-digital Watches and Wonders trade show. The show aims to display the house’s latest products, industry trends and will showcase major announcements. High-end watchmakers traditionally sell watches in physical stores but as some platforms have demonstrated it is possible to sell luxury timepieces online. Some 38 houses are participating in the event up from 19 the last time the event was held. A highlight of the event will be the 42 launches from the participating brands and the public at large can watch the Morning Show live at 8am Swiss time or on replay. The show is on on-line until April 13th and then it moves onto Shanghai from April 14th until April 18th with 19 brands participating at this in-person event.
