It was one of the more elegant moments at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, the world’s oldest film festival and one of its most prestigious. Robert Pattinson was at the festival to present the film Primetime which is in competition in the Official Selection of the festival. Primetime, an American psychological crime thriller film, draws its inspiration from investigative television journalism. Robert Pattinson, a Jaeger-LeCoutre brand ambassador, was wearing an audacious, at times mesmerizing, compelling timepiece: the Master Hybris Artistica Gyrotourbillon Westminster from the house.

Created in 2019, the Master Hybris Artistica Gyrotourbillon Westminster from the house of Jaeger-LeCoultre brings together some of the most advanced savour faire of the house. Its exceptional movement brings together a Gyrotourbillon bi-axial with a perpetual calendar and a minute repeater, a highly complex mechanism, chiming the Westminster melody (the famous chime heard when a clock strikes the quarter hour). Fashioned in 950 platinum and adorned with 260 baguette-cut diamonds on its case, lugs and dial, the watch is a brilliant marriage of extraordinary mechanics and sophisticted, eye-catching artistry.
