The French house of Magnum, the first to introduce ice-cream bars into France back in 1989, returns to Cannes this year with its Maison Magnum located on the famous Croisette during the Cannes Film Festival. The house with a dramatic backdrop onto the  azure blue sea is more than just a spot for the house’s signature ice-creams. Fashion shows, disco nights and champagne sips are all on the agenda. The Maison Magnum is open to the public from May 16th until May 23rd from 3pm until 6pm.

This year the Magnum House opened up on May 14th with a delicious fashion show orchestrated by the house’s first taste architect Law Roach with fashions by French designer and former professional dancer Victor Weinsanto, drawing his inspiration from the ice- cream creations of Magnum. The house is launching a new line of its ice-cream bars– their iconic ice-creams on a stick —featuring pistachio and peach with crunchy fruit toppings. Today billions of Magnum ice-creams on a stick are sold throughout the world annually. https://www.magnumicecream.com/us/en/home.html  Special to The Gourmet Gazette
