Milka and the French Federation of Football: May the Forces Unite

The forces are uniting as France’s national football teams, called Les Bleus (The Blues) in reference to the predominant color of their uniforms and Milka a milk chocolate enjoyed throughout the world come together in a new official partnership between Milka and the Féderation Française de Football (FFF), the French Football Federation, slated to last for three years. Until June 2024, the chocolate making house will lend its support to the women’s, men’s and the junior professional teams of the Federation. Milka will be bringing plenty of surprises to fans throughout the next three years. Special products have been conceived for the occasion and events are on the agenda in stores where Milka is sold and on social media. The brand will notably be on hand to support the French women’s team in the Euro 2022 to be played out in England this summer and toward the year’s end the Men’s team — the current World Champions — on their way to the World Cup in Qatar. « We are truly delighted to see our long collaboration with the FFF is being strengthened this year with Milka becoming an official partner of the French teams, » said Amélie Vidal-Simi, President of Mondelēz International, which owns Milka. While, « The FFF is delighted with the prolongation of our collaboration with the group Mondelez International and the arrival of Milka in support of the French teams, » commented Noël Le Graët, president de la FFF.

With its distinctive lilac packaging adorned with its Lila the cow mascot, Milka chocolate and cookie products are instantly recognizable on the shelves of food stores in the myriad countries around the world where they are found. From France to Bulgaria, from the United States to Argentina, the tender chocolate of Milka, which celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2021 has been enjoyed by generations of sweet tooths and other tooths. Made from alpine milk, Milka has sponsored alpine skiing stars since 1995. Milka is owned by Mondelez International, one of the world’s largest snack companies, and whose motto is Snacking Made Right.
