It is a stunning watch and it is going to help a stunning cause: local causes on the Caribbean island of Saint Barts, Saint Barths for the French. Since 2010, Richard Mille was there for the Les Voiles de Saint Barth, one of the world’s leading regattas. The house of Richard Mille remains determined to support this stunning event, a state of the art rendezvous for top notch competition and record-breaking technology, through these trying times.

The house is presenting its RM 60-01 Automatic Flyback Chronograph Les Voiles de Saint Barth in a limited edition of 80 pieces. Once again the event has been cancelled this year because of the health situation and the new conditions for entering and leaving the island, quarantine and obligatory reasons for traveling. The winner of the regatta receives a Richard Mille watch. But with no event this year the house of Richard Mille deemed it its obligation to donate all the proceeds of a sale of an RM 60-01 to local causes on the island and is in talks with authorities to decide which projects could benefit from this whether it be local health facilities or environmental projects.

Today the event, called Les Voiles de St Barth Richard Mille since 2019, has since its inception in 2010 welcomed tens of thousands of sailors and close to 500 boats from all over the world and it is a highlight of the Caribbean season.

The RM 60-01 Automatic Flyback Chronograph is powered by a caliber RMAC2 automatic winding movement with hours, minutes, running seconds at 3 o’clock, oversize date, annual calendar, flyback chronograph with central seconds countdown timer at 9 o’clock and a 24-hour totalizer at 6 o’clock. The timepiece is outfitted with a power reserve of about 55 hours.
