It’s all about red gold, lush green and tiny details. The Pano has been a mainstay of the house of Glashütte Original for over 20 years. The house’s PanoMaticLunar is a genuine original, outfitted with the classic 40mm circular case and traditional leather strap, there is, too, an unusual asymmetric dial with an intricate off-center dial and minute hands, its small second display, the characteristic Panorama Date display visible at 4 o’clock and one of The Gourmet Gazette’s favorite features, the moon phase indicator. But what immediately catches the eye is the lush green color of the dial which starts as an intense green color in the center and gradually changes to black at the edges.

The see-through sapphire crystal caseback proffers a perfect view of the in-house manufactory 90-02 automatic movement while the timepiece’s red gold case and crown have been polished to perfection and are beautifully offset with the glossy alligator strap in green. The house of Glashütte Original has been in uninterrupted existence since 1845 and is located in the Saxon town of Glashütte in Saxony, Germany where the manufacture brings traditional craftsmanship and innovative technologies together under one roof while producing 95% of all of its movement components and filigree dials in-house.
