It remains the ultimate logo of luxury. The GG, that double G from Gucci. The house, which is 100 years young this year recently brought out new pieces in its GG Running Jewelry Collection inspired from a design emanating from the house’s archives of the 1970s, an extraordinary, beacon decade for the house. The pieces in 18 karat white or yellow gold have been worked with guilloche, a special engraving technique, conferring upon them an ultimate brilliance because of the tiny patterns that have been engraved upon their surfaces.
There are the earrings in white gold bearing the famous Gucci double Gs surrounded by a glowing diamonds suspended from tiny heart-shaped studs. On a second pair in yellow gold, the famous GG logo comes together with delicate stars. The hearts and the stars have both been decorated with the guilloche technique. Two pairs of studs take on the GG logo in yellow or white gold also embellished with the guilloche technique outfitting them with extra texture.
The rings are accompanied with a GG charm that moves freely about the ring offering a liquid and playful touch to the finger jewels . Fashioned in yellow or white gold two of the rings are adorned with the guilloche pattern while a third ring brings together the GG charm set with diamonds and a ring bearing a unique geometric guilloche pattern. Founded in Florence in 1921, the house of Gucci is one of the leading houses of fashion and luxury in the world and today is part of the global luxury brand Kering.
