The young and highly sophisticated house of Swiss watchmaking, Krayon, has brought out its first women’s watch: The Lady Anywhere. The timepiece, whose dial and case are engraved with blossoming roses along its circumference, houses an extraordinary and complex mechanism. The watch can be worn with day wear or evening wear and showcases the exquisite hand finishing and craftsmanship of this independent Swiss watchmaker.

The watch displays the ephemeris, here the time of sunrise and sunset anywhere on the planet that its wearer chooses. An ephemeris gives the trajectory of naturally occurring astronomical objects as well as artificial satellites in the sky over a regular period of time. The Lady Anywhere watch builds on the house’s complicated Everywhere watch, an extensive complication that displays the time of sunset and sunrise anywhere in the world.

The watch with its 39mm case is available in 18 carat rose gold with the dominant colors being cream and pink and sports day and night discs. One is hand-painted in dark blue and the other in light pink. The night disc has a galaxy of stars while the sun with its rays, each one unique, sits atop the dial. The watch’s calibre was meticulously conceived and constructed by the founding watchmaker of Krayon, Rémi Maillat, a designer and engineer. The manual winding watch has a power reserve of 86 hours and is outfitted with a pink alligator strap.
