Paris, France – Leave it to a Parisian institution to come up with a caviar sandwich, and that on traditional French baguette bread. Prunier is offering a nice French change of pace to the hundreds of hamburger shops popping up all over town. The Baguette Caviar as it is called in French comes in four versions, caviar with butter, caviar with mortadella, caviar with spices or with mozzarella. The delectable dish draws its inspiration from Prunier’s caviar sandwich of the roaring twenties.
It also offers good value with its 15 euro price tag.

Prunier is one of the great Parisian venues for gourmet seafood. Favorites include salmon eggs, the gourmet Balik tasting plate of a host of salmons, a delightful selection of oysters and caviar served in a number of ways, accompanied by a stellar wine and champagne list.
