The Patrimoine Mondiale Reserve Exclusive Brut champagne from Nicolas Feuillatte
The house of Nicolas Feuillatte has just brought out its refreshing and limited edition Patrimoine Mondiale Réserve Exclusive Brut cuvée to the delight of champagne lovers who enjoy a fresh champagne that brings together all three of the predominate grape varieties used in making champagne wine. The Patrimoine Mondiale Réserve Exclusive Brut brings together all of the territories of Champagne country with a blend of 40% Pinot Noir grapes, 40% Meunier grapes and 20% Chardonnay grapes. The name of the cuvée Patrimoine Mondiale, meaning World Heritage, pays tribute to the inscription of Champagne hillsides, houses and cellars on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage sites.
Nicolas Feuillatte champagnes are the fruit of the cooperation between 4,500 wine growers in the prestigious wine growing region of Champagne who grow the grapes that go into the fashioning of Nicolas Feuillatte champagnes. Nicolas Feuillatte was founded by Nicolas Feuillatte with his brother Serge in the 1970s. Mr. Nicolas Feuillatte would become the largest importer of Ivorian coffee into the United States in the 1950s and he was prominent on the New York social scene.
You can visit the Espace Nicolas Feuillatte in Chouilly on a hillside overlooking Epernay in Champagne country and tours of the cellars, which re-open on May 12th after an extensive renovation, are conducted in French, English, Italian, German and Spanish and can include a tasting package.
