View onto the Movement of the Newport Skeleton by Michel Herbelin
The house of Michel Herbelin has brought out its classic Newport watch in a new version offering a great view onto its movement. The Newport Skeleton model has been brought out in a limited edition of just 500 pieces. The eye-catching watch draws it inspiration from the design of stealth ships and is ensconced in a 42 millimeter case of anthracite gray stainless steel with the hour and minute hands in black nickel created especially for the house of Michel Herbelin. The watch is water proof to 100 meters and has a FKM rubber strap that is highly resistant to tearing and which has been carefully worked to be extremely comfortable on the wrist. Its bright blue color perfects the sporty chic style of the timepiece.

The Sporty Newport Skeleton Watch by Michel Herbelin
The fully opened transparent dial offers a perfect view onto the skeleton’s movement, which was designed specifically for the house of Michel Herbelin. The house through this watch is inaugurating a new Swiss-made calibre mechanical movement, the Sellita SW400-1, generating 28,800 oscillations per hour and with a power reserve of 38 hours. Like all of the timepieces of Michel Herbelin, this watch was conceived, assembled, adjusted and verified in the house’s workshops located in the Jura mountains in the Franche-Comté region of France near the border with Switzerland. The family house of Michel Herbelin was founded in 1947 and today is under the direction of Pierre-Michel Herbelin.
