Paris, France — It’s one of the French capital’s most beloved gardens. Enjoying a history that has spanned four centuries, the Luxembourg Garden is managed by the French Senate and is home to a remarkable collection of 3,000 trees of myriad species, an orchid house — one of the finest collections in the world — tennis courts, an orchard of over 500 old varieties of pear and apple trees. A spacious pond for families of ducks and sailing toy boats, the Médicis Fountain and statues, flower beds and hidden corners all contribute to its enduring reputation as a great place to be. French artist Marin Montagut, known for his fairy-tale like creations has created a collection of exclusive, fun and flowery wares imagined in collaboration with the Luxembourg Garden.

It brings together everyday objects inspired by scenes from the garden, all illustrated with a watercolor by the artist. It’s his way of celebrating this special place filled with its own history and a certain French way of life. A notebook, lampshades, porcelain tea mugs, trays and delightful silk scarfs are among the offerings in this Once Upon a Time, The Luxembourg Garden collection, which will be available starting on May 23rd, 2026 at the Marin Montagut boutique, just a short walk from the garden at 48 rue Madame, Paris, 75006 or on line at https://www.marinmontagut.com/en
