The Loire Valley, its river, its castles, its UNESCO World Heritage sites and its sparkling wines and fine liqueurs. For cocktail hour two venerable houses of the Loire Valley have joined beverages for a delightful and fruity sparkling wine experience. This is a gustatory and visual wonderland for summertime or anytime. The house of De Chanceny produces a remarkable dry sparkling Saumur while the house of Combier in Saumur produces carefully crafted fruit liqueurs. Wonder Peach uses Combier’s peach liqueur and Elixir Combier placed into a champagne glass and topped off with the Crémant de Loire Brut Bio De Chanceny. Meanwhile the Wonder Strawberry cocktail offers the same doses, using Guignolet Combier and Liqueur Pure Folie Combier topped off with the Saumur Brut De Chanceny. This is the universe of De Chanceny Wonderland.

The house of De Chanceny is specialised in Crémants de Loire and Vouvrays, delightful sparkling wines made from the emblematic grape varieties of the Loire Valley: Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc. The wines, both white and rosé are made using the traditional vinification method producing fine, light bubbles and the wines are aged for a minimum of 12 months. Founded in 1834, the Combier distillery is the oldest in activity in the Loire Valley. It has remained on the same spot in the heart of Saumur. The Loire Valley is known as the Garden of France and great local fruits, flowers and medicinal plants remain abundant. It was in the house of Combier that Triple Sec was born back in 1834 in a single lambic still.
