These are tiny treasures. Boldly appealing, exhibiting beautiful art and craft. The house of Omega has introduced a strong new collection of De Ville Trésor timepieces that are sized at just 26mm. When the Trésor first appeared in 1949, it referred to the treasure found within the watch: the legendary 30 mm calibre movement which became synonymous with precision as well as simple design. It also enabled Omega to give the original Trésor a beautifully thin golden case. The house designers at Omega streamlined the collection in 2017 leading to stunning and classic watches and this year the Trésor returns, but on a different scale.

In 2022, Omega is releasing smaller 26mm models and introducing beautiful new straps with patterns that draw their inspiration from a traditional French fabric design, the famous Toile de Jouy. There are also two sparkling editions in 18K Moonshine Gold. The first model is for Moonshine Gold lovers for the entire timepiece —case, bracelet, hands, hour markers and the silky dial — is made in Omega’s unique alloy. Another version is available in an off-white Grand Feu enamel dial with blackened Roman numerals.

The Toile de Jouy fabrics originated southeast of Versailles in the 18th century and have been revived, remaining one of the most emblematic of French designs. Omega is extending the Mini Trésor collection by outfitting it with a range of Toile de Jouy straps, available as well on the 18K Moonshine Gold Models with enamel dials. The straps are available in three colors: blue sea in a tribute to Omega’s ocean heritage, black butterfly in a nod to the brand’s history of air and space exploration and red flora to reflect Omega’s passion for the Earth. These watches are also available in a stainless steel version with a double wrap around strap. All of the timepieces in the new mini collection are outfitted with Roman numerals and the Trésor crown engraved with an Omega flower in red and set with a diamond. And keeping with tradition, the latest Trésor models allow wearers to check their reflection on the mirrored casebook.
