Paris, France —An exhibition is currently underway at the Canopy by Hilton hotel up high on the hill of the Trocadéro neighborhood. The show is committed to helping one of the most endangered species on the planet, the elephant and brings together art works, NFT (digital assets) and tennis as the French Open is currently underway at Roland Garros in the French capital. Created by the Epic Elephant Squad this exhibition showcases whimsical paintings of elephants set into the world of tennis. Each creation represents a famous player so that visitors to the exhibition can try to figure out which elephant depicts which player. This unique ensemble of 12 Epic Elephant NFTs has been created to celebrate the 2022 French Open by Barteu Artist.

The show is underway in the restaurant of the four-star hotel until June 16th and is open to all from 8am until 9pm. An on-line charity auction will take place from now until June 3rd of the NFT collection with all of the proceeds going to four international foundations that work to protect elephants: Wildlife SOS, Global Sanctuary for Elephants, Over & Above Africa and Trunks Up. Wildlife SOS is a nonprofit conservation organization founded in 1995 in India working to bring back endangered wildlife and to conserve the natural heritage of India. Global Sanctuary for Elephants saves and offers sanctuary to elephants from all over the world while Over & Above Africa collects donations for projects and initiatives aimed at protecting endangered species in Africa. Trunks Up helps to conserve and protect elephants in Asia and critically endangered elephants in Thailand.

Non-fungible tokens NFTs are blockchain-based digital art. NFTs are a type of digital asset existing on a blockchain, a record of transactions kept on networked computers. A museum devoted to NFTs opened last January in Seattle.
