Paris, France — The venerable auction house of Christie’s, founded in 1766, is presenting its very first Luxury, French Style exhibition held in the house’s light-filled exhibition space at the auction house in Paris. The house revealed the collections during an elegant cocktail party in its Parisian headquarters. On show are the objects of desire of upcoming auctions. Highlights include a splendid selection of handbags, luxury watches and high jewelry pieces all showcasing French savoir faire. The handbag auction will take place in Paris on April 27th with 69 rare items on the block all created during the past two decades and including some rare models, like miniature Hermès handbags that can be attached onto a regular-sized handbag as charms.
