Sparkling and brilliant, the entire precious gemstone family is there dancing diamonds, riotous rubies, scintillating sapphires and enchanting emeralds and more, ever so much more. This is a paradise of high jewelry from the house of Chopard. For each year the house brings out a stunning Red Carpet Collection for the Cannes Film Festival, the High Jewelry Collection that Caroline Scheufele designs each year as part of Chopard’s official partnership with the Cannes Film Festival since 1998. Caroline Scheufele is Chopard’s co-president and artistic director.

This year’s Haute Joaillerie collection of 74 creations, the number of creations corresponds to the number of years since the Cannes Festival first began, is a lively and imaginative collection radiating energy and a rich, dreamy universe outfitted with lush gemstones fittingly entitled Paradise.

Among the expressive pieces is a flamboyant double necklace choker interlacing yellow diamonds and adorned with a 30.68 fancy vivid yellow diamond. Immersed in a sea of sapphires is the dolphins ring which depicts these delightful creatures dancing around a magnificent 59-carat oval tanzanite. There is a sublime bracelet with a colorful and graphic central motif embellished with garnets, tsavorites and tourmalines.The collection showcases the work of the house’s artisans — from goldsmiths to gem setters — who exercise their art and craft in Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie Geneva workshops, the largest in Switzerland.
