This is a big watch. This is a professional diving watch. This watch has a magnetism-resistant movement. This is the latest addition to Citizen’s Promaster Marine group of watches. The Japanese watchmaking house is introducing its Promaster Mechanical Diver 200 meters which has a 46mm dial in the house’s very own Super Titanium case and it is water-resistant to 200 meters. Outfitted with a power reserve of 42 hours its daily precision is -10 to +20 seconds, and so possessing solid accuracy for this mechanical watch.

In this new timepiece, Citizen reveals its Caliber 9051, a new automatic movement using anti-magnetic materials to strengthen the magnetic resistance of the watch. The surprisingly lightweight watch is ultra large which should make it appealing to divers and it has a massive bezel and a domed sapphire crystal. its handsome black dial is finished with an attractive hobnail pattern known as clou de Paris which literally means nails of Paris while the crucial minute and seconds hands are in orange with a luminescent coating for high visibility underwater. The professional diver’s watch is outfitted with a long rubber strap that can be lengthened with an extension for it to be worn over a wet suit.

Since its inception in 1989, the Promaster Collection has become an icon in professional sports watches, known for its durability and its reliability in extreme conditions be it underwater, underground or in the air. Founded in 1918, the house philosophy has always been « Better Starts Now ». And the house has created patented technologies like its Eco-Drive which runs on light and its Satellite Wave, synchronized by satellite.
