French Basque Country — Satin, embroidery, crystals and corals, brocade and silk crepe, marble and myriad encrusations. The Autumn/Winter 2021/22 Couture collection from Stéphane Rolland was once again a winner. A collection described as one of water and stone, it featured supple, wide and generous silhouettes, monumental jewelry and precious embroidery of mineral mosaics inspired by the French artist Beatrice Serre, specialized in mosaic work. The show, a digital presentation during the Paris Couture week, was filmed in the dazn light of the Basque country and features Nieves Alvarez as the beautiful muse.
