Rome, Italy — Antonio Grimaldi’s light, airy and feathery Fall/Winter 2021-22 Couture collection was played out in a minimalist and contemporary setting in Rome on July 4th within the context of the Paris Haute Couture week. The digital presentation, billed The Ladies Club, was a unique universe of 21 looks with cocktail and evening dresses taking center stage showcasing sinuous, feminine and sexy silhouettes. The designer favors traditional geometric lines as well so sculptural necklines, asymmetrical openings in the front and plunging necklines in the back were all featured in the presentation. Bodysuits embroidered with glowing glamorous crystals and covered with feathers were a spectacular highlight of the collection along with coveted capes. On the color scene were glacial whites, perfect pinks straight out of the aurora borealis with periwinkle, blue, black and green rounding out the show. And for additional glamour, top model Anna Cleveland played a starring role in the show.
