Once again the house of Richard Mille brings us elegance, refinement and sophistication, this time it is a new RM 037 watch in dashing and pure white ceramic. The timepiece is the house’s latest addition to the Richard Mille women’s collection. The model is a beautiful combination of whites: white ceramic, mother-of-pearl and white gold.
The bezel and case back are in finely honed ATZ ceramic which required a lengthy, delicate machining and grinding process to achieve the complex shapes. ATZ is one of the hardest materials in the world after the diamond and it is valued for its remarkable resistance to scratches, shocks and abrasion as well as for its whiteness, in short a perfect material for fashioning a watch case.
The watch is satin white with the overall effect enhanced by the mother-of-pearl and diamonds that embellish the dial. The timepiece is outfitted with a Richard Mille CRMA1 in-house movement whose red gold rotor is visible through the sapphire glass.
The automatic skeletonized watch has a power reserve of 50 hours and is outfitted with an oversize date display. Meanwhile the crown is incorporated into the case and is no longer connected to the watch movement, offering maximum protection.
