World class watchmaker Richard Mille and world class tennis player Rafael Nadal are celebrating their partnership of ten years. The house of Richard Mille has brought out a ground breaking and dashing tourbillon in a limited edition of just 50 pieces. The ultra-light watch, the RM27-04 Tourbillon Rafael Nadal, is outfitted with a case made in a brand new material that is exclusive to the watchmaker, TitaCarb® a high performance polyamide which has been strengthened with fiber content making it one of the most resistant polymers in the world.

The watch’s manual winding tourbillon movement, which is suspended within the case, can resist accelerations of more than 12,000 g’s, a record for Richard Mille. G’s are the unit of measure for acceleration. For a decade now the Swiss house has been creating unique watches for Rafael Nadal, the 13-time French Open winner and the RM 27-04 has Rafa, the shortened version of his first name, engraved on the case band. He wore the watch – priced at over one million dollars – during the final of the French Open which he won, scoring an ace for his final shot.
