Paris, France – The snake has fascinated and frightened for an eternity and is regarded variously as a symbol of both life and death, eternity and resurrection, good and evil and even knowledge. Two serpents entwine the caduceus, the staff of Hermes, while one snake is depicted on the Rod of Asclepius which has become an internationally recognized symbol of medicine.

The American jewelry designer Sarah Jane Wilde has made colorful rings in their effigy. The collection of five rings emerge dressed in precious jewels sparkling out of 18-carat gold so dear to the designer. Each piece is handmade and as so becomes unique. Meanwhile pink,orange and yellow sapphires, brown and white diamonds and aquamarines are the stunning stars of the serpent show.
