It is a historic house, the Swiss house of Robert & Fils, founded nearly 400 years ago in 1630. The house, a family affair, enjoys one of the longest traditions of timekeeping in the world and today is headed up by Gilles Robert who represents the 11th generation of the house’s watchmakers. The house released at Baselworld last March a dazzling, exquisite creation outfitted with a highly orignal and intriguing crafted lacework bracelet. Based on the vintage Robert manual-winding movements from the 1960s and 1970s, the line has been brought out in pink or white 18k gold cases set with diamonds and set off by the lace like hand-made black leather strap adorned with six 18K gold strands set with 20 brilliant-cut diamonds.

The watch has been brought out in an exclusive limited edition of only 20 pieces with 10 watches in pink gold set with 123 diamonds and 10 in white gold set with 187 diamonds. The watch aptly entitled Dentelle, meaning lace in French, marked the return of the house to Baselworld.
