Paris, France — The world renowned Parisian restaurant has just re-opened after 18 months of renovation (more on that later) and is organizing for the second time its precious Automnales from September 22nd until October 23rd. This exceptional operation, which takes places only on the internet site of the house’s luxury grocery boutique, brings onto the market fine wines from the Tour d’Argent’s exceptional wine cellar. This is a one-time opportunity to purchase wonderful wines, for as little as 15 euros (US$16) and have the bottles delivered, free of charge, to your door anywhere in continental France.

Sitting majestically on the Seine, the Tour d’Argent has been one of France’s great gastronomic halts since the 16th century. It has been owned and managed for three generations by the Terrail family and once again the family-owned house is giving internet buyers a unique opportunity to acquire a part of this exceptional gastronomic heritage. These are wines and spirits that have been aged in the ideal conditions of the wine cellars of the Tour d’Argent. During the month of the Automnales the public can discover and purchase a selection of 470 perfectly aged wines and spirits, nearly 1,200 bottles, that have been carefully selected by the Head Sommelier of the house, Victor González , from among the 14,000 bottles that rest in the house’s wine cellars.

This is clearly a wide open event with the prices ranging from 15 euros (US$16) to 4,300 euros (US$4,590). A large selection of Burgundies are among the offerings as well as a fine selection of precious spirits and ports. Among Mr. González’s handpicked favorites are the Bandol Château de Pibarnon 1996, the Chambolle-Musigny « La Combe d’Orveau » Domaine Grivot 2006, the Meursault « Casse-Têtes » Maison Verget 1994 and the Cahors « Le Cèdre » Château du Cèdre 1996.
