The Swiss watchmaking house of Tissot launched new models in its PRX collection last year, a collection which enjoyed both a critical and commercial success. Eight new models have been brought out this year including a chronograph and a new 35 mm dial for a unisex version of the watch that draws its inspiration from the original 1978 model. The collection opens up with two luxury versions of the Tissot PRX automatic with a 40mm integrated case in satiny steel outfitted with an 18-carat massive pink gold bezel. The dial is available in a lustrous blue or brown. The watches are waterproof to 100 meters and enjoy a power reserve of 80 hours.

Meanwhile the new additions to the Tissot PRX 40 205 are nestled into a 40mm case and outfitted with a highly precise Swiss-made quartz movement and are available in three dial colors: green, blue and gold made with gold plate and a golden yellow dial. Water resistant to 100 meters these watches are equipped with an engraved crown.

Tissot has brought out three new versions of its sport PRX 40 model whose dials are replete with a snazzy checkered pattern available in green, blue or black and outfitted with a stainless steel strap or black or blue leather strap and are powered by a PRX Powermatic 80. The house has also launched five versions of a 35mm model in a range of unisex colors ranging from pearly white to pastel blue, gold, green or azure. The house has also brought out a high performance chronograph in the PRX collection which will be available in stores in June. The house, which was founded in 1853, has been the timekeeper for major events like the Tour de France bicycle race and the NBA championships.
