The Swiss house of  Van der Bauwede has imagined a glittering juxtaposition of a pear-shaped lab- grown diamond on a bed of colorful briolette-cut sapphires whose tear drop forms dazzle. The collection of fanciful rings, called Isia, draws its inspiration from a necklace offered by Napoleon I to his wife the Empress Marie-Louise for the birth of their son in 1811.
