Paris, France — It is one of those quintessential French collaborations when a house of high-jewlery making works with one of France’s best known artists to create a collection of eye-catching bracelets and a unique necklace. The contemporary artist Richard Orlinski, regarded as one of the best selling of the contemporary French artists, is famous for his endearing art work and sculptures, often depicting animals and often monumental in scope. The Lyons-based house of Charnay is known for its finely crafted hand-made high jewellery known as haute joaillerie in French. The collaboration yielded an exclusive collection of nine different Lingot bracelets and one single, spectacular necklace. The collection reflects Orlinski’s contemporary vision of art with the jewel being conceived as a work of art.

The sculptural Lingot bracelets are fashioned in yellow, pink or silvery gold with some set with diamonds. It’s like wearing a sculpted work of art on your wrist. « Collaborating with Charnay allowed me to bring my artistic universe together with the exceptional savoir-faire of high jewelry making. These bracelets are for me true sculptures to be worn, in which metal and emotion encounter one another, » commented Orlinski.
