Paris, France — Paris and France at large are literally teeming with Olympic-related and Paralympic-related exhibitions and events, but there is a series of exhibitions being held in the municipal swimming pools that you literally have to swim to see, preferably doing the backstroke. Or alternatively you could perhaps discreetly walk around poolside albeit looking sporty in appropriate pool gear to see the 87 photographs by Stéphane Allaman that are being exhibited in five Parisian public pools. The photographer, the City of Paris and the group Récréa, which manages aquatic and leisure sites joined their respective talents and forces together to create this multi-venue exhibition entitled Reflex 2024, the Exhibition Sport Witness.

The photographs are nothing short of spectacular and cover a wide range of Olympic sports from fencing to cycling to cross country and beyond. The word Reflex was retained for three reasons explains the photographer Stéphane Allaman, the reflex camera that he uses, the physical and mental reflexes that sports require and because Récréa had the reflex to propel this project forward.
