Skateboarding made its Olympic debut at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, held in 2021 due to the pandemic, and it will be on the program for Paris 2024, taking place on the Place de la Concorde where the Crillon hotel is located. The skateboard exhibition is open to the public and is free of charge. It offers a wonderful experience in juxtaposition as the colorful skateboards pop up throughout the 18th century hotel in its formal lobby, the bar, in its signature suites and upon its monumental staircases and the balcony overlooking the Place de la Concorde.
