Paris, France — Perched on one of the finest shopping streets in the French capital (rue des Francs Bourgeois in the Marais), one finds an intriguing boutique devoted solely to lipstick. Your lipstick because you make it yourself, with expert make-up artists. Bâton Rouge isn’t only the name of the capital of Louisiana, it’s the name of this boutique dedicated to lipstick. At Bâton Rouge, which literally  means red stick, you can choose the color, texture and perfume of the lipstick exactly to your liking and 30 minutes and US$53 (50 euros) later you can leave with your bespoke lipstick. You actually watch the lipstick being made right before your eyes, a real life lipstick factory.  Bâton Rouge  is an independent cosmetic company founded in 2021 and only produces on order and uses environmentally-friendly packaging. And it’s open seven days a week from 11am until 7pm. Special to The Gourmet Gazette. 50 rue des Francs Bourgeois, 75003 Paris, France. + 33 (0)1 75 57 37 30. https://batonrougeparis.com/
