Paris, France — The fine French watchmaking house of Bell & Ross revealed a delicious rendition of its Skull Skeleton watch. To celebrate the arrival of the house’s eye catching BR 01 Cyber Skull Bronze, the house teamed up with prominent pastry chef, watch lover and proud owner of Bell & Ross watches Julien Dugourd who took on a highly technical feat of  creating a pastry version of the timepiece. Savor each passing hour is the philosophy that the co-founders of Bell & Ross, Bruno Belamich and Carlos Rosillo, share with Julien Dugourd, explains the house. The pastry chef created an absolutely marvelous chocolate-caramel cake  reflecting the look of the new  BR 01 Cyber Skull Bronze.

An amazing  surprise awaits fans of sophisticated watchmaking: an animated automaton triggers the movement of the lower part of the jaw of the watch, as if the skull in the center of the watch was preparing to savor the cake created by Julien Dugourd. This detail renders the timepiece highly unusual and it has been brought out in a limited edition of only 500 pieces. The subtly faceted bronze case of the BR 01 Cyber Skull Bronze houses a special mechanical hand-wound movement, the BR-CAL.210 calibre. The watch is crafted in bronze, one of the oldest alloys in the world with its combination of copper and tin.

Meanwhile the base of the cake consists of a Caribbean crisp on top of which is a chocolate biscuit delicately coated with caramel and both are surrounded by chocolate mousse embossed with cocoa butter colored with natural ingredients to create a bronze effect. A small chocolate wafer sprinkled with gold duplicates the skull emblem sitting on two shin bones. Worn by pirates and D-Day elite paratroopers, this Jolly Roger insignia is the stylistic signature of the BR 01 Cyber Skull watches.
