Lighting Up Lives with a Luxurious Lottery

Paris, France — It’s bright lights beautiful city time in Paris as the holiday lights come on all over town for a spotlight of a show. The Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré was lit up not only in style to launch its holiday season, Winter Time, but concomitantly with its luxury lottery with the proceeds going to the French charity for children Les Premiers de Cordée. The street and its neighboring streets, the rue Saint-Honoré, the rue Royale, the rue Boissy d’Anglas which are federated by the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré  are lined with the most prestigious and luxurious brands in the world: Ralph Lauren, Christian Dior, Lalique, Gucci, Baccarat and the list of luxury and savoir faire goes on.

Each year the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré committee asks the houses to donate an object or an experience to be raffled off with the benefits going to charity. Ralph Lauren has offered up a ladies hand bag from the Polo collection while Chanel is giving the gift of a grey cashmere scarf. The Bristol Hotel is offering up dinner for two in its beautiful bistro and David Yurman has put in an 18-carat gold Box Chain necklace. These are just a few of the marvelous things that you can win in a lucky draw. Each raffle ticket costs just 10 euros and they can be purchased on-line until January 15th with the winners being announced on January 16th on the Winter Time website. It’s all in French so we will walk you through it. You go to https://www.wintertimeparis.com/ then click on Acheter un Billet (Buy a raffle ticket)  in the top right of the home page. If you want to see the items on offer, in the main menu click on La Tombola (The Raffle) and in the sub-menu on Les Lots (The Prizes). Good luck for the draw.

Les Premiers de Cordée, the charity that is to benefit from the raffle, introduces sports to isolated children and gives hospitalized children sports clinics. It was founded by leading professional athletes in 1999.
