Paris, France — The solstice, the longest day of the year or the longest night. The winter solstice in December is when the night is at its longest and an array of colors, shades and hues emerge. It is this solstice that the house of Piaget reflects in its latest high jewelry collection presented last July. Entitled simply Solstice, the house has brought out once again a visual feast, a sparkling world from the hand of man and the gemstone treasures of nature for a time when we all belong to the night.

Deep greens and blues, dark reds and pinks, colors of the night sky come together in this once again exceptional collection, shining bright into the night. The hallmarks of the house are all here for an exceptional rendezvous: remarkable precious stones, delicate settings, high craftsmanship all from Piaget’s Ateliers de l’Extraordinaire where gold is sculpted and fashioned. From here emerged the Voluptuous Ribbon and Generous Laces adornments. The feathers of the Extravagant Touch watch can metamorphose into earrings, The central piece of the Flamboyant Nightfall necklace can be clipped on to the setting of a ring. The masterpiece Dazzling Swirl timepiece houses a tourbillon beneath a pavement of diamonds.
