Paris, France — It is one of those innovative French cultural institutions. Ateliers d’Art de France (Art Workshops of France ) groups together some 6,000 craft artists, artists and manufactures throughout France and works to develop, promote, defend and represent art workshops and studios. This year for the fifth year Ateliers d’Art de France held its Revelations arts and crafts fair offering a stage for arts and crafts people from France and beyond to showcase their works to the general public. Stunning art jewels from France, beautiful beaded works from Cameroon, works made in metal, in feathers, traditional weaving from Cyprus and so much more were all on the agenda. The fair brought together some 406 creators from 34 countries with a special emphasis on Africa which was represented by 13 different countries from June 9th to the 12th in the Ephemeral Grand Palais exhibition space overlooking in a grandiose fashion the Eiffel Tower.

The quality of the one of a kind pieces was breathtaking. The central exhibition space, The Banquet, featured individual pieces from artists from around the world including Cyprus, Morocco, Zambia and Slovakia. The Traditional crafts of the United Arab Emirate embodied by contemporary works were on display for the first time. But in the meantime you can take in and purchase fine one of a kind arts and crafts objects at one of Atelier d’Art de France’s venues in Paris listed below.
