Orient watches are all about the rugged outdoors and the house continues to celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2020 into 2021 with a second release of a new watch distinctly designed for adventure, on the heels of the house’s release of a dive watch last year The timepieces of the third and latest generation of M-Force watches are designed for the great outdoors and outfitted with a unique protection shield and simple compass bezel (the ring surrounding the crystal), a handy feature to have when exploring.

This watch is sturdy and tough, characteristics that have been integrated into every design detail including the bidirectional compass bezel and the large protection shield that protects the rotating bezel and huge crown from rocks and other hazards. The letters indicating the north, south, east and west directions are displayed in the new bold font seen on the diver’s watch revealed last year while the tips of the hands and the indices feature high intensity luminous light that fills up with light for high visibility at night. The watch’s in-house automatic caliber F6727 features various devices to protect against shocks. Outfitted with a stainless steel case the watch is water-resistant to 200 meters and the dial color is black, orange or green.

The M in M-Force stands for three things, mechanical for the mechanical movement, massive an ode to the watch’s durable and solid structure and maverick for its original and refined designed. Orient is a Japanese watch brand that produces its own movements and crafts finished watches.
