The mission Artemis II took off for an orbit around the Moon and its darky dark side yesterday, marking NASA’s first crewed mission to the moon in over 50 years. And as in the past NASA crewed moon missions, the astronauts on board were all sporting an Omega watch, the Omega Speedmaster X-33. Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover and Mission Specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen are all wearing the timepiece which is flight certified by the NASA. The Speedmaster X-33 is fashioned in Grade 2 titanium and outfitted with a titanium bracelet, an alarm, a chronograph and a day date. A new mission for Omega which has accompanied every NASA crewed mission to the moon since 1969. ©Trish Valicenti for The Gourmet Gazette
