On the first day of the 2026 Olympic Winter Games, the Official Timekeeper Omega has hosted a memorable opening gala at its exclusive home for the Milano Cortina 2026 games. Attending the inaugural celebrations at Omega House on February 7th were the brand’s ambassadors George Clooney and Park Bo-gum, who joined the very first guests to be welcomed inside. Located at Ristorante Cracco, set within the iconic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Omega House Milano highlights Omega’s role as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The venue provides an inviting space that will serve as the home of the brand between February 8th and 21st. The American actor, George Clooney, has served as an Omega ambassador since 2007, yet his personal connection to the brand stretches back to childhood, when he first discovered Speedmaster watches on the wrists of NASA astronauts. His passion for Omega was also passed down from his father, and George has since worn many of the brand’s timepieces on screen, as well as in his own daily life.

Speaking at the OMEGA House Opening Gala, George Clooney said, “I’ve spent many hours in northern Italy over the years, so it’s quite special to have the Olympic Winter Games taking place in this beautiful part of the world. Especially with Omega here as Official Timekeeper, I’m so thrilled that I get to experience this legendary side of the brand and witness their precision in action, as well as their unique Omega House hospitality.” Special to The Gourmet Gazette https://www.omegawatches.com/
