It appears to float around the wearer’s neck. It’s light and bright and sculpted with exceptional craft from crystal. The Soufflé d’Amour (Breath of Love) jewel by Lalique is a highlight of the house’s Air de Lalique Chapter 1 Collection. This contemporary crystal talisman is a re-interpretation of the emblematic motif in Lalique’s Amoureuse (In Love) collection bringing together myriad lucky charms. The molten crystal is collected and sculpted by the house’s master glass craftsmen. Its surface is then smoothed out and polished to create its light-filled reflexions. The charm is available in clear crystal with a white cord or in red crystal with a red cord. The pendant can also be paired with a silver chain or a gold plated chain. Conceived by Marc Larminaux and the Creative Studio of Lalique, Souffle d’Amour is available in Lalique stores and distributors around the world as well as on Lalique.com.

The house of Lalique was founded in 1888 by René Lalique and the house remains one of the crown jewels of France’s crystal glass industry. Mr. Lalique was a pioneer of modern jewelry before becoming a master glassmaker. And the house remains a symbol of unique knowhow and art and design excellence. The Lalique manufacture is in the town of Wingen-sur-Moder in Alsace where the first stoves were fired in 1922 and it remains to this day the only place in the world where Lalique crystal is made. Lalique know-how has received the prestigious label of Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Enterprise, or EPV), a label of distinction awarded by the French State to recognize French firms for the excellence of their traditional and industrial skills.©Trish Valicenti for The Gourmet Gazette. http://www.lalique.com/en
