The improbable pair learn, together, about loyalty, friendship and ohana, the Hawaiian tradition of family and extended family. The original animated film Lilo and Stitch was released in 2002 by Walt Disney Pictures and now a live action version of Lilo and Stitch is poised to be released in the United States by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on May 23, 2025. Merchandising is in the running as well.
