Timekeeping is an art mastered by Tissot through decades of experience. The timekeeping team sets up a sophisticated infrastructure of technology that ensure precise and reliable results. The Moto Grand Prix is one of the more exciting of the speed sports and Tissot is on hand for each race moving its timekeeping systems from race to race on semi-trailers. They were on timekeeping hand for the Moto Grand Prix of France yesterday and today in Le Mans on a slick rained upon track that nevertheless saw riders cruising around at 350mph. The race proved to be a historic one at that as well with Johann Zarco becoming the first French rider to win the race in 71 years. And by a mere 19.907 seconds in difficult weather conditions.

For the occasion the house has brought out its Tissot T-Race MotoGP™ quartz chronograph 2025 in a limited edition of 8,000 pieces to celebrate over two decades of partnership with MotoGP™,. The timepiece features a 45mm dial, an engraved caseback and a Swiss Quartz movement. Outfitted with the Valjoux A05.951 movement which enjoys a power reserve of 68 hours, it has also been brought out in a skeleton version with an eye-catching see-through dial. This version is limited to 2025 pieces.

Tissot, which was founded in Switzerland in 1853, is also the official timekeeper for the great cycling races: France’s Tour de France and Spain’s Vuelta.
