Paris, France — Tucked away in a corner of the 19th arrondissement of Paris, a workshop is at work creating pieces of high fantasy jewellery. Subtle colors, fantastic shapes and a touch of the surreal bring Eliar’s jewelry alive. The pieces are hand-made in brass galvanised with gold, silver or bronze and outfitted with semi-precious stones, glass beads and vintage crystals, all of which are sourced locally in Paris. The eye-catching results are evident with earrings being a specialty. The house works only on a custom-made to order basis yet the prices are surprisingly excellent value. Basically you choose a design and then select your color combination for the stones and crystal, exchanging directly with the designer.

Created six years ago by a woman jewelry designer steeped in the arts, each design embodies a story and offers an invitation to journey somewhere to dream of anywhere, as evidenced in the latest collection entitled Mirage. The Eliar universe revolves around four fundamental pillars: organicity, creation, power and the imaginary. Some of the pieces can require 70 hours of work and are designed with longevity in mind.
