Paris, France –This is elegant jewelry. Wearable, timeless and thoroughly stackable which is why the pieces from WSPR — a multi-brand concept that encompasses diverse designers — are sure to become highly collectible. The Lebanese house has just opened up a pop-up store on the fourth floor of Galeries Lafayette Haussmann in Paris bringing these creations to Paris in person for the very first time. Diamonds and 18k gold are all highlights of the collections but colorful touches emerge on the horizon as well like dreamy green malachite, beautiful blue hematite and roaring red agate. There is a Byblos bracelet graced with a compass and Phoenician letters in 18K yellow gold and lapis lazuli, an 18K yellow gold Jezzdine (Jezzdine is a major resort in southern Lebanon) bracelet graced with multi-color agates, dove earrings in 18K gold and white enamel and so much more. There are pieces for special occasions like weddings, baptisms and graduations.

But WSPR is more than just a store, it helps young designers along the way, working much like an incubator for young, talented creators explains founder Rita Frangie. WSPR scouts out designers in their local communities or schools and proceeds to accompany them in their endeavors offering artistic and business advice along the way. The result is affordable luxury resulting in a host of exciting designs from the Orient, bringing these designs to the West at Galerie Lafayette’s flagship Parisian department store on the Boulevard Haussmann. Many of the pieces are steeped in symbolism, peace being a notable concept. Each designer expresses her cultural heritage, personal stories and a unique vision. The concept also helps to liberate women living within a Near Eastern culture, explains WSPR. The Galeries Lafayette pop-up store is slated to stay in place until the middle of January.
