Almine Rech opened a new gallery in the Principality of Monaco on May 2nd in the prestigious Carré d’Or district at 20 avenue de la Costa. The initial presentation features intergenerational artworks from the estates and artists represented by the gallery, including Günther Förg, Turi Simeti, Tom Wesselmann, Minjung Kim, Dr. Esther Mahlangu, Kenny Scharf, Francesco Vezzoli, Gregor Hildebrandt, Carlos Jacanamijoy, Fabien Adèle, Alexandre Lenoir, Ryan Schneider and Thu-Van Tran. A new exhibition is slated to follow on May 22nd during the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 automobile race. The new space in Monaco marks the 11th international location for Almine Rech, whose global gallery network extends to Paris, Brussels, London, New York, Shanghai and Gstaad, in addition to institutional collaborations in Venice.
