Hortensias, butterflies, poppies, dahlias, daisies and dragon flies are all making their way to the table offering a festive mealtime outing and a sneak peak into springtime. In a stunning display of the art of French table arts, the house of Beauvillé has decidedly decided to invite flowers to town and country proffering up a beautiful table setting. A meal becomes a journey into an enchanted garden with myriad flowers and colors with the house’s five new designs: The Poppies, The Hortensias, The Gardens, The Palais Royal (the Royal Palace) and The Summer Garden. The square table cloths are complemented by matching napkins all in printed Beauvillé cotton, resolutely Made in France.

The family-owned house, based in the picturesque town of Ribeauvillé in Alsace in eastern France, has been creating exceptional fabrics since the early 19th century and has been going strong ever since, earning the coveted Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label (Living Heritage Company) in 2009 and opened up its own museum in 1923. The house exports its table linens, which are also found in castles and museums, around the world. The house, through La Manufacture d’Impression sur Etoffes branch, is specialized in the art of hand printing on natural fabrics: cotton, linen, wool and silk. Some of Beauvillé’s most celebrated clients include Braquenié, Cowtan & Tout and Polo Ralph Lauren. It remains one of the last manufactures in the world to hand print fabrics.
