They are a mesmerizing example of an exceptional and rare natural phenomenon. These include the Cullinan mine in South Africa and the Argyle mine in Australia. They were also found in the legendary Golconda diamond mine of India. The most well-known blue diamond is the infamous Hope diamond with its sapphire-like dark blue color. But it has, above all, acquired a reputation as the bringer of bad fortune to many of its previous owners, although this has been widely dismissed as myth. The Kollur mine in the vicinity of Golconda in India is believed to be where it was sourced.
