The house has just brought out its Aikon Skeleton Urban Tribe timepiece in line with its Aikon Urban Tribe that hit wrists in 2021 and immediately sold out. The urban-themed watch is once again a celebration of urban architecture and with its sapphire dial it artfully reveals the intricate structure of the movement. Maurice Lacroix worked with the movement expert Sellita to produce the exclusive Automatic ML135 which plays with transparency, allowing light to pass through various openings to illuminate various parts, like a building. 

Style-wise, the hour and minute hands are facetted and lined with Super-LumiNova®, while the dial is framed with luminescent indexes and a decorative dark grey flange filling in the dial. Housed in a 39mm stainless steel case, the exterior of the Aikon Skeleton Urban Tribe is laser engraved with an intricate motif. The various patterns have been inspired by the concrete, glass and steel structures which have come to define the avenues and boulevards populating the world’s most vibrant cities.
