It’s time to see yet another wonder from the Watches & Wonders show held in Geneva this year. TAG Heuer introduced the TAG Heuer Carrera Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde 36mm timepiece with pink diamonds showcasing the house’s innovative spirit and taste fo the avant-garde. The house is using lab-grown diamonds in all shapes and forms and now also in color. This innovation can be enjoyed on the house’s Carrera Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde revealed at the Geneva show and benefitting from Tag Heuer’s breakthrough Diamant d’Avant-Garde technology. In a first for the house the watch introduces a combination of pink and white-lab grown diamonds with colored lab-grown diamonds to be used more extensively on luxury watch models in the future. This amazing pink color—with further color options to follow— is obtained during a special diamond growing process. The Carrera Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde 36mm timepiece is brought out in white gold with on its signature crown, a 1.3 carat pink lab-grown diamond, The unique 2.9-carat dial is outfitted with 12 white gold indexes and paved with white lab-grown diamonds. Above them a special shield-shaped pink diamond sitting just below the Carrera dial logo. A black alligator strap with a white gold buckle round out the elegance of this luxurious timepiece. 

The TAG Heuer Carrera is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year in 2023. The watch will be available at the end of 2023 by order only. As Frédéric Arnault noted at the reveal “With the new TAG Heuer Carrera Plasma Diamant d’Avant-Garde, we intend to expand the new high-end innovative segment with this first colored lab-grown diamond piece.
